AN HORSE ‘WALLS’ TO ARRIVE IN STORES APRIL 26

Canadian Show and SXSW Dates Announced

Australian duo An Horse are set to release their sophomore full-length, Walls, on April 26 on Mom+Pop Music/Fontana North.

An Horse will debut Walls live at SXSW in Austin, TX. Their first Canadian show will be with Manchester Orchestra at the Mod Club Theatre in Toronto on May 16. For fans elsewhere, the album release show at the Knitting Factory in New York City will be available for viewing live around the world via Livestream.com on April 26 at 9:45 p.m. EST.

Two tracks off the record are now available online; the first single “Dressed Sharply,” is streaming at SPIN.com, and “Trains and Tracks” is available for download on AnHorse.com. When the band announced on their twitter that they were offering fans a first taste of new music on their website, the demand was so high it overloaded and crashed the site. At AnHorse.com fans can also check out in-studio footage of the band recording with producer Howard Redekopp (The New Pornographers/Tegan and Sara) in Vancouver, BC.

Walls, a follow-up to their 2009 acclaimed debut, Rearrange Beds, which garnered glowing reviews, from People to Pitchfork, a performance on the Late Show with David Letterman and relentless touring, is an album of distances traveled and of distances between loved ones, shaken up in a bottle and exploding upon its release.

Walls track listing:
1.  “Dressed Sharply”
2.  “Not Mine”
3.  “Airport Death”
4.  “Know This, We’ve Noticed”
5.  “Trains and Tracks”
6.  “Walls”
7.  “Brain on a Table”
8.  “100 Whales”
9.  “Leave Me”
10.  “Windows in the City”
11.  “Swallow the Sea”
12. “Tiny Skeletons”

Tour Dates:
3/18/11 – Austin, TX @ The Mohawk (2:15pm)
3/19/11 – Austin, TX @ Maggie Mae’s (8pm)
5/16/11 – Toronto, ON @ Mod Club Theatre
